"Going Dark" documentary was inspired by Dr Guy R. McPherson's book about Near Term Human Extinction, "Going Dark." The short documentary takes a look at how his message has affected people and inspired them to be more compassionate with all living beings, and to do what they love now.

Only Love Remains: Dancing at the Edge of Extinction

Reviewed By Lesley Jones for Readers' Favorite

Only Love Remains by Guy R. McPherson is a brutally honest investigation into the results of climate change from years of ignoring the signs that the earth's temperature is rising at a frightening speed. The professor is candid in his approach yet this is definitely not a book full of woe, but enlightenment into how we can free ourselves from the shackles of society.  This is a book that is well-written, from the heart, and full of thought-provoking information. I truly believe once you have read this book you will change your views drastically and work towards waking every morning with a strong sense of gratitude and purpose.

Going Dark

Going Dark is the story of one scientist's response to the horrors we face. It is a deeply personal narrative infused with abundant evidence to support its terrifying claims. In the words of syndicated cartoonist David Fitzsimmons, McPherson's ""approach is disarming and his message is both life-changing and convincingly alarming. A blend of Paul Revere with Rachel Carson, Guy McPherson is a significant voice of rational conscience nudging in the wilderness.

Walking Away from Empire

From a reader review:

In "Walking Away from Empire: A Personal Journey", Guy presents the choices he made to live counter to the culture our generation believed as the 'right way' to both live and behave. We seem to be facing a binary choice - to live "on" or "off" the grid and as it's becoming clearer (with events such as Superstorm Sandy), this choice will be made for us if we don't make it ourselves.
